M12 Bluetooth Headset — Active Noise Cancellation and Detachable Mic

Over-ear headphones · Active noise cancellation · Detachable microphone · USB-C

Headphones to listen. A boom to be heard.

Most people have two devices: headphones for music and a headset for calls. This one does both, because the microphone is on a boom that clips in front of your mouth – and can be removed when you just want to listen. It's the difference between being understood during video calls and having to make everyone repeat themselves.

What it changes

• Detachable boom microphone — three centimeters from your mouth instead of being lost in the earcup. In meetings, that's the only parameter that truly matters. You remove it by pulling it off.
• Active noise cancellation — it eliminates constant, low-frequency sounds: train noise, office air conditioning, engine hum. Turn down the volume, and your ears will last all day.
• Over-ear, 175 × 190 mm — the earcups surround the ear instead of pressing on it. This makes all the difference after two hours.
• 10 hours of announced listening time, 120 hours standby — a workday and your commute, no cables needed.
• USB-C charging — the same cable as your phone. Nothing extra to carry.

What we don't promise you

The manufacturer announces "-48 dB" and a mention of "Hi-Res Audio" in its visuals. We're not using either. -48 dB would surpass the best headphones on the market at €300, and "Hi-Res" makes no sense with a standard Bluetooth connection. We prefer to tell you what we can't verify rather than just copy it.

These headphones don't compete with a Bose or Sony at €300. Its noise reduction works well on low and constant frequencies, less so on sharp and high-pitched noises. At this price, that's a normal compromise.
